The addition of ucla to Jones list was interesting, to say the least.

The talents of Jones can best be showcased with an offensive minded team.
And everyone knows that Bennie is a defensive minded coach.
ucla focuses on defense, priority No.1.

Even its own ucla players have voiced concerns over the lack of offensive production.

Moreover, if JONES was to reduce the LIST to FOUR:
Kentucky would also be out.
Cali is not recruiting Jones to heavily.
Cali wants Harris and has labelled him as a point forward.
Harris is being recruited for the same position as Terrence.
Not a good match.
(kentucky is recruiting Leslie more than Terrence.)

If Jones wants to stay west coast and Smith and he want to play together, it would appear that the on;y schools that could do that in their top favorites would be Washington and UCLA.

The problem is that Josh has been very evasive about naming a solid finalists list like Jones has. They could end up at Oregon for that reason, but you'd have to think that Ernie Kent being on such a hot seat now would have to weigh in on that choice.

Some posters on the net, who I follow and feel that they have some insight have stated that they think that the next school. to be dropped from Jones list will be UCLA.

If that's so, it would appear to be between UW, 'Zona and Oregon for Jones, if he picks a west coast school, as he's intimated that he's likely to do.

As far as our contacts, we're still hearing thaat Oklahoma is in it for Terrence, so I guess you'd have to include them in possible schools that could land both of these kids.

As far as Josh, who knows what's going to happen?

One thing's for sure.

After this weekend, if he's not a Bruin, UW is in very good shape going into what should be the home stretch for him.

We are hearing that it will boil down to UCLA and UW for Josh and Oregon and UW for Terrence and that UW has a fighting chance with both guys.

I dont know but I feel we are in pretty good shape to get both of them. I know they talk and discuss going to same school. That leaves Oklahoma, UCLA and us. Jones said he wants to stay west coast. I just feel good about this. We get one or both then it makes an easier path to get good guards for 2011, which I feel we will get Wroton for sure. I hope my feelings are correct.
