The Huskies are a legit top 15 team at home, their agressive style defense backed by a loud crowd makes it a difficult game for the refs to officiate. The booing from bad calls at home seems to fuel the teams intensity as they tend to go on large runs afterwards like in the oregon state game when calvin haynes stood up with the basketball and there was no traveling called. My main concern is that while dominant with a home crowd, we seem to play like a bottom shelf pac 10 team on the road. Our offence often looks stagnant and confused, and we just seem altogether less confident and decisive on both sides of the ball. This team is young, but they need to figure out how to bring some of that home swagger with them on the road

I'm cautiously optimistic about this team. I'm not going to completely buy in until they prove that they can do it on the road. I think that our expectations were a little too high and that while this is certainly a team with a lot of talent, its taken a while for the players to figure out what their respective roles are, in part because of Romar’s strange lineup changes, which prevent any sort of continuity. That said, I like what he was done with the rotation now, as I think that there seems to be a solid plan for how he is using the rotation. If they can keep this going, we have a great shot at repeating as conference champs.

Hey, I said that about the 6 losses, although my name is Andy too. :) I got a note from Texas (that's what I will call him), saying he does not have a feeling that Jones will go to UW but he has not heard that anywhere just his gut feeling. Also, they are recruiting Jones and it is not really mentioned too much in the media but they are recruiting him.
