Terrence technically has another visit, if he wants one. He visited Oklahoma, Washington, Kentucky and now UCLA officially. He visited Oregon unofficially. He has stated that he may take another visit next weekend before committing.

Josh is not visiting LA this weekend, at least not Josh Smith from Kentwood. I thought I'd throw that in for fun.

Terrence is visiting UCLA this weekend -- UCLA is one of the five schools on this list, and the last one he's visiting. If Josh were heading down to LA this week, it would, in my opinion, definitely be bad news!

I just read on Percy's blog that Josh is visiting UCLA this weekend. That could be bad or good I guess but I'm leaning to bad. This visit has caught me off guard.

I agree Gersen. I know that UCLA is UCLA and thus a big draw for a kid. But I would think that Josh Smith would have some awareness of how good the UW guards are and that they are all back next season for his one season of college ball. Hawes should give Smith a call and let him know how much it sucks to play on a team that doesn't have a guard that can get you the ball, regardless of how good you think/know you are. UW is also seemingly in great position next season to make a run to the final four but for some solidly big man play.

I love it all Josh! One thing, if I were Josh and thinking UCLA, I would wonder if those guards could get me the ball. Especially if Lee leaves like the media is saying might happen. Another thing, strange things are afoot in Oregon. Will they have Kent there after this year? I know Nike, I mean Oregon has a lot of pressure to keep him in state. As long as we have Romar we will always have great recruiting. As a parent, I would want my son to play for someone with his high standards. He's a good man.

I heard a lot of Smith's friends have recommended he attend the Dub.....doesn't mean he'll listen to them though. I don't think peer pressure will be a factor.

Predicition/Vote? What is the difference? The poll isn't about what you want to have happen otherwise (assuming most on here are UW fans) all the votes would have us getting both of them. I think of the vote as an opportunity to predict what you think will happen. Sorry but your post does not make any sense. Also this issue is not like "voting on whether its going to rain tomorrow or not". Especially considering the outcome has four as opposed to two possibilities. Also there are more reliable indicators as to whether or not it will rain tomorrow. Ask a weatherman. I don't know if the Jones/Smith situation has that weatherman.

Go Dawgs!

Thanks for the comments, Paul and DawgieDaddy. With so much excitement about the Dawgs this year, how could there not be a lot of coverage of their single exhibition game? But, I wouldn't get up onto the ledge about Turner just yet. It's early, and I doubt he's actually regressed. If C.J. and Scott have been pushing him in practice, great. But, there's a long way to go before I'm too worried about Elston not contributing much this season. That said, none of those three looked good the other night.

I fail to see the point of voting for something like this. It's not really an opinion issue, like, say, who should be the starting point guard. Obviously one of these things will happen, and the others won't. It's sort of like voting on whether its going to rain tomorrow or not.

If you want predictions, which make a little more sense to me than votes, then I agree with you that niether is probably the most likely scenario of the four. But FWIW there are reasons for hope w/ both of these kids. TJ's aunt played women's hoops at UW; and I can't see any reason that JS would have drug this out this long if he wasn't giving the Dawgs serious consideration.
